Biography of an immortal Bengali Wrriter


SARATCHANDRA  CHATTOPADHYAY :- (1876 – 1938)
          A famous and popular novelist of Bengali Literature was  Saratchandra Chattopadhyay . He was born on 15th September’ 1876 at Debanandapur in Hoogly dtstrict of West Bengal. His father  Matilal Chattopadhyay was a great writer.In his youth life lives at Bhagalpur in the State of Bihar.
          He was very opethatic in his temperament, Travening  different places and coming together  with various person in his life.
          He wrote his first novel is “Mandir” with his great experience  and  awarded him  “Kuntaleen”. He knows as a author of Prose fiction from his novel “Bardidi”. Then he wrote  more novels , Bindur Chele, Ramer Sumati, Mahesh, Debdas, Abhagir Swarga,Parmita, Pather  Dabi, Charitrahin, Srikanter will, Biraj Bou etc which was agitation in Bengali Literature.
        “Srikanta” is a epoch-making famous   Novel in his life.
         He inspired the Freedom fighter  for Freedom in India. But he died at the age of 62 in the Year 1938.
                  BiswaKabi  Rabindranath Tagore wrote belongning to this novelist .
